Carol Jenkins is a Colorado painter, whose work is currently being shown in galleries in Denver, Boulder and Scottsdale. Specializing in oils, her formal training took place at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and her style has been refined through studies with acclaimed plein air artists throughout the west.
Carol's work has been exhibited in multiple national juried and invitational shows. Carol lives in Ward, Colorado and paints in the Rocky Mountains, deserts surrounding Tucson, Florida, and New England.
2007 Awards & Shows:
Became a Signature Member of the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters.
Awarded Best Body of Work by the artists and received an Award of Excellence at the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters National Show in Winter Park, Colorado.
2006 Awards & Shows:
Awarded the 2006 Best Body of Work at the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters Signature Show in Steamboat Springs.
2006 Award of Excellence, R.M.P.A.P. National Show in Winter Park.
